Seeking a Senior Data Architect who has demonstrated leadership in designing Data solutions leveraging Snowflake, and or Databricks . This long term hybrid assignment would see you collaborate up to 3 days per week onsite at this Enterprise client's Dallas or Fort Lauderdale offices. As a Solution Architect your core responsibility is to ensure the creation of sustainable technical architectures for one or more end-to-end solutions, products, or business/IT services. This individual will work closely with cross-functional business and technical teams to design solutions that align with enterprise strategy and business outcomes. The Solution Architect is responsible for overseeing the technical vision of a platform and leading the development team towards executing that vision. The ideal candidate will possess a balanced mix of strong technical expertise and exceptional business skills, including leadership at the Director level.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deliver appropriate solutions across application or infrastructure platforms
- Assist Enterprise Architects in defining enterprise vision
- Define and enforce application development standards across the enterprise
- Ensure that solutions adhere to enterprise architecture standards
- Stay up to date on platform, infrastructure, and application development technologies and capabilities
- Provide expertise in application development, database design, and platform efforts, ensuring compliance with enterprise policies, industry regulations, and best practices
- Collaborate with Enterprise Architects to mitigate risks across IT systems and platforms while meeting business objectives and regulatory requirements
- Communicate risks and solutions to cross-functional key stakeholders
- Research, design, and advocate new technologies, architectures, and products to support business and IT requirements
- Evaluate and develop application-level architectures
- Lead the development and maintenance of platform strategy and architecture
- Organize and motivate the development team during the system development life cycle
- Responsible for the technical vision and execution of the solution, including programming, integration, and testing of software systems
- Select the most appropriate technology for solving business problems, balancing project and enterprise concerns
- Ensure scalability, maintainability, and sustainability of solutions
- Assess third-party frameworks and platforms to mitigate risks
Specialist Expertise Required:
- Technical: AWS, Databricks, or Snowflake
- Designing Data solutions, creating Architecture Blueprint and Data Flow Diagrams
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- 10+ years of experience in IT with broad exposure to different platforms and technologies
- Expert knowledge of solution/application development techniques across one or more platforms
- Broad experience with multiple platform environments to design application or infrastructure solutions at the enterprise level
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to analyze complex issues
- Executive-level people and process skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to senior executives in layman’s terms
- Strong understanding of business processes to create cohesive, usable products
