Senior Director of Business Development – Medicaid Services
Location: New York (5 Boroughs)
Salary Range: $160,000–$180,000 annually
Position Overview
We are a leading provider of Medicaid eligibility and enrollment services, dedicated to supporting home care agencies and health plans in improving operational efficiency, maximizing revenue, and enhancing patient care.
We’re seeking a dynamic and results-driven Vice President of Business Development to spearhead growth initiatives, forge strategic partnerships, and expand our presence within the Medicaid, home care, and health plan sectors. This pivotal role will focus on scaling operations in New York and Pennsylvania and establishing our organization as the go-to solution for Medicaid eligibility and enrollment services.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Growth:
- Develop and execute business development strategies to secure new partnerships with home care agencies and health plans.
- Identify opportunities for growth within the Medicaid space and penetrate untapped markets, particularly in New York and Pennsylvania.
Sales Leadership:
- Drive sales efforts, collaborating with marketing teams to align lead generation and client engagement strategies.
- Negotiate and close high-value contracts, tailoring solutions to client needs.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, acting as a trusted advisor to optimize their Medicaid eligibility processes.
Market Expertise & Compliance:
- Maintain a thorough understanding of Medicaid regulations, eligibility requirements, and industry best practices to align all initiatives with compliance standards.
Team Leadership & Collaboration:
- Mentor and lead the business development team, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Foster cross-departmental collaboration to streamline processes and enhance client experiences.
Reporting & Metrics:
- Track KPIs, provide actionable insights, and present performance updates to executives and stakeholders.
Industry Advocacy:
- Represent the organization at industry events and conferences, building brand visibility and fostering relationships with key stakeholders.
Must-Haves
- Proven Leadership Experience: 3+ years in business development or sales, with at least 2 years in a senior leadership role.
- Medicaid Expertise: Deep understanding of Medicaid eligibility and enrollment, home care services, or health plan operations.
- Track Record of Success: Demonstrated ability to secure new business and establish long-term partnerships.
- Sales & Negotiation Skills: Expertise in closing high-value contracts and presenting tailored solutions.
- Communication Strength: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly.
Qualifications
- Experience in Medicaid, healthcare, or home care is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with CRM tools, business platforms, and data analytics for tracking and optimizing performance.
- Proven ability to develop strategic plans and execute them effectively in a competitive environment.
