    Job Summary:

    We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer/Manager with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the industrial/chemical industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading electrical engineering design, regulatory compliance, and project management activities.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop single-line diagrams and schematic drawings

    • Prepare purchase specifications and obtain vendor quotes

    • Develop electrical construction specifications and perform bid evaluations

    • Approve vendor drawings and supervise startup testing and commissioning of electrical equipment installations

    • Contribute to plant proposals for business development

    • Coordinate with other disciplines and construction management during plant design and construction

    • Supervise designers and participate in design activities

    Project Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate with utilities for installation of new plants, including substations

    • Perform power system studies for voltage drop, load flow, short circuit, and relay coordination

    • Develop substation packages and install, test, and commission high-voltage substations

    • Install, test, and commission large synchronous motors, switchgear, transformers, VFDs, UPS, diesel generators, and batteries

    Troubleshooting Responsibilities:

    • Evaluate equipment breakdowns and analyze plant trips

    • Perform root cause analysis and create reports for Lessons Learned

    • Provide emergency support during plant trips

    Other Responsibilities:

    • Perform plant reliability audits and evaluate existing electrical equipment

    • Prepare cost estimates for upgrades and evaluate hazardous area classifications

    • Read standard Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams and view 3D models

    Requirements:

    • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in the industrial/chemical industry

    • Professional engineering license (PE) preferred

    • Excellent communication and language skills

    • Ability to read standard Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams and view 3D models
