Senior Employment Litigation Attorney

The salary range for this position is $120,000 to $140,000, inclusive of bonuses, health benefits, and 401(k) contributions. We cover all bar dues and CLE fees and offer potential relocation assistance. Responsibilities: • Manage a caseload of at least 40 cases meticulously, ensuring precision and attention to detail • Supervise the dedicated support staff assigned to your cases to guarantee seamless operations • Thoroughly analyze legal scenarios and develop strategic plans to effectively address clients' needs • Direct litigation strategies and provide representation for clients in both West Virginia's circuit court and federal court • Meticulously draft legal documents and conduct comprehensive legal research to strengthen cases • Conduct depositions and mediations, and serve as lead counsel in trials and arbitrations with confidence Qualifications: • Proficient in effectively managing high-pressure situations • Knowledge of employment laws and procedures • Capable of handling challenging or negative circumstances with poise and tact • Experience in serving as first chair in jury trials • Licensed to practice law in West Virginia • Comfortable utilizing technology within legal practice • Demonstrates a strong commitment to assisting clients in difficult situations and improving their outcomes • Possesses exceptional negotiation skills, thinks quickly on their feet, and displays confidence in a courtroom environment • Willing to travel for mediations and depositions across the state Compensation: $120,000 - $140,000 yearly
