Our client, a leading name in the supplement industry, is looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Manufacturing Engineer to oversee all mechanical and digital technologies for a nutraceutical plant. This critical role focuses on integrating cutting-edge Industry 4.0 tools, implementing smart factory solutions, and leading the design and expansion of manufacturing site. Additionally, the position plays a vital role in establishing robust predictive and preventive maintenance processes to ensure top-tier equipment performance and asset longevity.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all mechanical and digital technologies across the manufacturing plant, driving the optimization and continuous enhancement of equipment and production processes.
- Spearhead the integration of Industry 4.0 technologies, including automation, IoT, machine learning, and data analytics, to improve efficiency and informed decision-making.
- Design and implement predictive and preventive maintenance strategies to maximize equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and extend asset lifespan.
- Oversee the design, construction, and commissioning of new manufacturing facilities and expansions, ensuring mechanical systems and digital technologies meet performance and safety standards.
- Partner with maintenance and operations teams to seamlessly integrate digital tools, predictive analytics, and automated systems for real-time equipment monitoring.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives through Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies, enhancing productivity, minimizing waste, and ensuring superior product quality.
- Perform root cause analysis on equipment failures, implementing effective corrective and preventive solutions to avoid recurrence.
- Lead capital projects for equipment upgrades, installations, and plant expansions, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, maintaining all systems in line with industry standards.
- Provide technical training and mentorship to engineering and maintenance teams, fostering a culture of innovation and safety.
- Stay ahead of advancements in manufacturing technology and propose upgrades to maintain the plant’s position as a leader in operational excellence.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic, or Industrial Engineering. Advanced degrees or certifications in related fields are a plus.
- Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt preferred).
- A minimum of 12 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with significant leadership in managing mechanical systems and digital technologies.
- Proven expertise in implementing Industry 4.0 solutions, including automation, IoT, data-driven systems, and predictive maintenance tools.
- Strong background in capital project management, equipment optimization, and plant expansion.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills, with a passion for driving innovation and improvement in manufacturing environments.
Compensation: $120,000-140,000 plus full benefits!
