    Job Summary:

    The Senior Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate, consistent, and competitive cost estimates and bids for various projects. This role requires strong analytical skills, industry knowledge, and a meticulous approach to estimating, ensuring that every project meets the highest standards of quality and profitability.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to prepare precise, high-quality cost estimates.

    Develop comprehensive bid proposals, ensuring accuracy and consistency in labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs.

    Prepare and write detailed quotes for clients based on project specifications.

    Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with cost estimates while maintaining quality standards.

    Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to refine and enhance estimates for greater efficiency and reliability.

    Communicate with vendors to obtain accurate pricing information.

    Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes for accuracy, consistency, and competitiveness.

    Assist in value engineering efforts to optimize project costs while upholding superior craftsmanship.

    Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, material costs, and industry best practices to ensure consistency in estimating standards.

    Participate in client and vendor negotiations, always prioritizing quality and adherence to company standards.

    Ensuring compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards, reinforcing a culture of excellence and consistency.

    Qualifications & Skills:

    Minimum of 5 years of experience in estimating within the construction industry.

    Proficiency in estimating and take off software- Bluebeam.

    Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with a focus on quality and precision.

    Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents with a detail-oriented approach.

    Experience in preparing both conceptual and detailed estimates with a consistent methodology.

    Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities with a quality-driven mindset.

    Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while ensuring consistency in deliverables.

    Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word for accurate and systematic data management.

    Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, or a related field (is a plus).
