This role will be responsible for:

• Responsible for forecasting project costs. Gather details for the purpose of compiling data to estimate all production and resource costs according to the specifications of a project. Will typically have between 3 and 8 active estimates in process at any time.

• Fulfill the need for technical estimating preconstruction services including detailed qualification of work items, preparations of conceptual estimates, bid solicitation, scope development and analysis, pricing, and processing of computerized data.

• Manage the Pre-construction timelines to meet contract delivery, permitting deadlines, and start dates of projects.

• Coordinate program responsibilities with the scheduler from the timing of completing tasks, scheduling of work, and setting milestones.

• Work with design teams to stay on task for completing estimating responsibilities.

• Manage the transition of projects from the office to the field by making sure that the Estimator & field teams are coordinated in setting up contracts and buying out the project in a timely manner to start

• Develop and cultivate a team atmosphere between the office, owner, and field where information flows freely and the needs of the project are being met in a timely manner.

• Review construction plans

• Prepare bid lists
  

• Read and interpret construction blueprints
