Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Executive to oversee and drive the growth, operations, and financial success of our check cashing franchise network. With over 10 years of experience in the check cashing industry, the ideal candidate will provide leadership, ensure regulatory compliance, and optimize business performance while expanding market presence.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Business Growth
Develop and execute long-term strategic plans to expand franchise operations and increase profitability.
Identify new business opportunities, market trends, and potential expansion areas.
Build and maintain strong relationships with franchisees, investors, and key stakeholders.
Lead negotiations for new franchise locations and partnerships.
Operations & Compliance Management
Oversee the daily operations of check cashing locations to ensure efficiency and compliance with industry regulations.
Implement and maintain policies to comply with federal, state, and local financial regulations, including AML (Anti-Money Laundering) and KYC (Know Your Customer) requirements.
Work closely with legal and compliance teams to stay ahead of regulatory changes affecting the business.
Financial Oversight & Profitability
Manage financial performance, including revenue, cost control, and profitability analysis across franchise locations.
Develop financial strategies to optimize cash flow, reduce operational costs, and enhance revenue generation.
Oversee risk management policies and procedures related to cash handling and fraud prevention.
Franchisee Support & Training
Provide leadership and mentorship to franchise owners, ensuring they adhere to best practices and company policies.
Design and implement training programs for franchisees and their staff to improve customer service, compliance, and operational efficiency.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide continuous support to underperforming franchise locations.
Technology & Innovation
Identify and implement digital solutions to enhance customer experience and streamline check cashing processes.
Work with IT teams to improve security measures, transaction systems, and fraud detection technologies.
Qualifications & Experience:
10+ years of experience in the check cashing, financial services, or alternative banking industry.
5+ years of leadership/management experience within a franchise or multi-unit business model.
Deep knowledge of check cashing regulations, financial compliance, and risk management.
Proven track record in business development, franchise growth, and operational efficiency.
Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
Experience with financial technology (FinTech) and digital payment solutions is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
Ability to analyze financial reports and make data-driven decisions.
Expertise in regulatory compliance, including AML, KYC, and financial reporting.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to industry changes.
Experience in handling high-volume cash transactions and fraud prevention.
