Experience: • Family Law Litigation: 7 years (Preferred) License/Certification: • California State Bar License in good standing (Required) • Certified Family Law Specialist certification (Preferred) Location: • California (Required) Work Location: Remote from home with ability to attend local trials Responsibilities: As a Senior Family Law Attorney at Baron Family Law, you will: • Lead high-stakes family law cases involving divorce, custody, support, and property division. • Provide strategic counsel and strong advocacy through depositions, hearings (via Zoom and in-person), mediations, and trials. • Collaborate with our forward-thinking team to move cases efficiently through the litigation process, leveraging advanced technology. • Draft and review pleadings, motions, agreements, and other legal documents to ensure accuracy and compliance. • Prepare Dissomaster calculations, Propertizer reports, and perform thorough financial analyses. • Oversee discovery processes and lead trial preparation, including organizing key dates, facts, and exhibits. • Mentor and assist in the development of junior attorneys and paralegals. Qualifications: • 7+ years of family law litigation experience , with a strong track record in divorce, custody, support, and property division cases. • Active member in good standing with the California State Bar. • Proven expertise in preparing legal documents, managing discovery, and providing financial analyses. • Excellent communication skills , both written and verbal, with a strong ability to present arguments and represent clients in hearings and trials. • Leadership and Team Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to mentor staff and work collaboratively within a legal team. • Technological proficiency , with comfort using virtual tools for hearings and client communications. • Experience in the Following Areas: • Divorce, annulment, legal separation • Temporary restraining orders • Child support and alimony • Custody arrangements and visitation rights of parents • Modifications of custody or support. • Pre-and post-nuptial agreements Compensation: $200,000 yearly
