Responsibilities: The primary responsibility of the attorney is to handle all aspects of a client’s case including drafting pleadings, communicating with clients, communicating with counsel, conducting discovery, and preparing for and attending court hearings. You would also be preparing for and attending trials. Your daily duties will include drafting motions, pleadings, orders, and judgments, providing status updates, overseeing and analyzing discovery, and legal research. Qualifications: • At least three to five years of family law experience • At least one year of litigation experience • You must be a good-standing member of the Texas Bar • You should be a self-starter, a quick learner, and have a solid ability to work both independently and with a team • Possess creative problem solving, flexibility, and an ability to prioritize are important • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Have a high level of attention to detail and organizational skills • Familiar with Apple products • Have GREAT time management skills • Demonstrate a high degree of discretion, confidentiality, and integrity in the handling of personal client information, including following the Rules of Professional Conduct • Have a good sense of humor • Demonstrate a strong work ethic with high standards for quality of work • Be able to interact with clients, colleagues, and co-workers in a compassionate, personable, and professional manner • Ability to report accurate time daily in the firm’s case management system Compensation: $96,000+ based on experience
