Responsibilities: • Provide legal assistance and support to Family Law Attorneys within our Alpharetta-based family law practice in Georgia, US • Work closely with Senior Family Law Attorneys to ensure seamless collaboration and assistance • Conduct thorough legal analysis and research as needed for cases • Prepare and file various legal documents, including pleadings, agreements, discovery requests, and responses • Assist in trial preparation by organizing evidence, drafting motions and briefs, and preparing witness lists • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other relevant parties throughout legal proceedings • Meticulously maintain and manage case files and documents both physically and electronically • Aid in preparing for depositions, mediations, and hearings to support legal proceedings Qualifications: • Must have at least 4 years of experience working as a family law paralegal specifically in Georgia • Proficiency in all aspects of family law, particularly focused on drafting pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and discovery is essential • Demonstrated strong research and writing skills are required • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and legal research software • Ability to multitask and effectively prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment is necessary • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must • Expected to bill 130 hours monthly Compensation: $70,000 - $90,000 yearly
