Sr. Financial Analyst
Location: Corona, CA (Onsite with ROARK client)

About the Role:
ROARK is partnering with a dynamic client in the Jurupa Valley area to identify a highly motivated Sr. Financial Analyst to join their finance team. This role will report to the Sr. Director of FP&A and work closely with the VP of Finance. As a key member of the finance organization, you will analyze financial performance, develop financial models, and provide insightful reporting to stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Financial Modeling & Analysis: Develop and maintain advanced financial models, integrating benchmarking and process analysis to ensure accurate forecasting and budgeting.
- Reporting & Insights: Prepare weekly dashboard reports with supporting analyses to deliver timely insights into key performance indicators.
- Variance Analysis: Compare actual financial results against budgets and forecasts, identifying areas for improvement and actionable opportunities.
- Trend Research: Conduct thorough reviews of historical financial data to uncover trends and support strategic decision-making.
- Budget Collaboration: Participate in budgeting processes for departments and projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Sales Reporting: Generate daily and weekly sales reports, including sales performance by individual, backlog, top SKUs, high-volume items, tamale sales, geographic trends, and ad hoc requests.
- Performance Optimization: Evaluate sales data to identify areas for improvement and provide actionable recommendations.
- Financial Statements: Support the VP of Finance & Accounting in preparing periodic financial statements.
- Segment Analysis: Deliver insights into business performance at customer and SKU levels, contributing to segment-specific strategies.
- Business Analytics: Act as the internal resource for analytics tools, such as Microsoft Power BI, to enhance data-driven decision-making.
- Project Support: Contribute to ad-hoc projects and assist the executive team with long-term financial planning initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Professional Experience: At least 3 years of experience in financial analysis.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems is essential.
- Analytical Excellence: Demonstrated ability in analytical thinking, problem-solving, and critical evaluation.
- Detail Orientation: Exceptional attention to detail with the capability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present complex financial data clearly and concisely.
