A Turn2Partners client is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst. This role will report to the Director of FP&A and interact with the CFO on a weekly basis. As an instrumental member of the Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis, the Senior Financial Analyst will be actively involved in supporting the FP&A team through the consolidation of forecasts and budgets for operations, sales, and other corporate teams.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing the corporate forecast, annual budget and strategic planning analysis
- Gather, review and consolidate financial data collected through reviews with operations, sales and accounting teams
- Understands key business drivers and challenges processes and recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses
- Conduct price/volume/mix variance analysis on forecasts, highlighting key variances
- Support budget owners with P/L analysis, issue analysis and resolution
- Work on special projects produce ad-hoc analysis as needed
Requirements:
- BA/BS required, preferably in Accounting, Finance, Applied Economics, or related field
- Minimum 3 – 5 years of experience of traditional FP&A experience or a combination of audit, consulting or corporate finance
- Experience creating and validating detailed financial models
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Experience working with Large ERP systems including Hyperion, Oracle, SAP, BPC, or related financial systems
