Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior HR Generalist to provide day-to-day HR functions to support in the US. The person in this role will be the knowledge expert of the employment law in the US, have a go-getter type of personality, and desire to implement best-in-class HR processes, and thus enhance the HR function in the US. The person will be the first point of contact for employees.
Responsibilities:
Communicate to internal stakeholders in Human Resources policies, procedures, laws, standards, and regulations.
Administer and educate employees on benefits (including 401k) and maintain a sustainable relationship with insurance providers.
Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with department managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
Conduct background checks.
Ensure effective exit interviews and provide management with analysis and recommendations.
Provide resolutions to employee relation issues (e.g. employee complaints and harassment allegations)
Implements new hire orientation and conducts orientation for new hires.
Administer and record employee recognition and incentive programs.
Ensures accuracy of HRIS and leads the HRIS project implementation and enhancements.
Build and sustain beneficial relationships with employment agencies and educational institutions.
Ensure the compatibility of applicants to job positions.
Develops and implements H&S policies and procedures and ensures compliance with the relevant legislations.
Maintain a sustainable relationship with state agencies and oversee the adherence to wages, working hours and other regulations.
Manage salary structure, position documentation, and an evaluation system.
Manages and ensures accuracy of all employee files.
Recommend, develop and maintain human resource data bases, computer software systems, and manual filing systems.
Develop and provide recommendations for policies and processes.
Provide research as requested.
Plan, organize and attend recruitment fairs as requested.
Develop, coordinate and update intranet site.
Keep job descriptions current.
Provide general information and assistance internally and externally over the phone, electronically and in person.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Human Resources Management required.
HR Related Certification Preferred (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, etc.)
Minimum 4 -6 years of work experience in HR required.
Good understanding of US employment law.
Work experience in recruitment preferred.
Demonstrated work knowledge of multiple human resource areas preferred.
Data analysis skills required.
Basic research skills required.
Demonstrated ability to provide beneficial recommendations to solve HR related issues related to regulations, laws and policies.
Demonstrated knowledge of change management.
Ability to develop and implement strategies.
Effective communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organization.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Presentation skills required.
Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times.
Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently.
Computer literacy, including effective working skills of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and e-mail required.

Location:
The position is hybrid and must be able to be in our Sauk Rapids, MN office for part of the work week. Relocation assistance is not provided.
