The selected candidate will lead and strategically apply HR best practices within the business unit, including succession management, workforce planning, compensation, training, and skills development to meet company needs and objectives. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Promote change initiatives through proactive communication and relationship building.
- Introduce and support continuous improvement concepts while providing guidance and oversite to reach intended objectives.
- Efficiently plan workforce requirements, including succession planning, in alignment with budgets.
- Provide coaching to supervisors on objectives, compensation, performance reviews, and skills development.
- Oversee labor relations management and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and business processes, offering coaching and support to managers as needed.
- Lead a small team of HR professionals while supporting attract and retain objectives and the monthly, quarterly, and annual company initiatives.
- Provide performance management and workforce development coaching and consulting to the administrative leadership team.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years in a professional HR management role with experience in a union and manufacturing environment preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of compensation management, benefits management, talent management, etc.
- Proven success in change management and knowledgeable of continuous improvement concepts to integrate in management.
- Exhibits strong leadership, fostering proposed buy-in solutions.
- Excellent ability to build and support a customer-focused culture based on a people-centric approach.
