Senior/Lead HVAC Technician Experience: 7–10 years Location: Alpharetta, GA Job Type: Full-Time

Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior/Lead HVAC Technician to oversee complex projects, ensure high-quality installations, and provide expert troubleshooting. This role involves leading a team of technicians, developing maintenance schedules, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with strong leadership and technical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage large-scale HVAC installations, retrofits, and service projects.

Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans and schedules.

Diagnose and resolve complex HVAC system issues, ensuring minimal downtime.

Provide training, mentorship, and performance evaluations for junior technicians.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations, codes, and best practices.

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure project success.

Maintain accurate service records and documentation for all projects.

Recommend system upgrades and energy-efficient solutions to clients.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Experience: 7–10 years in HVAC installation, service, and maintenance.

Education: High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree in HVAC/R preferred.

Certifications: EPA 608 Certification (Universal) required; NATE certification preferred.

Skills:

Expertise in troubleshooting and repairing commercial and residential HVAC systems.

Strong leadership and team management abilities.

Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Knowledge of industry standards, building codes, and safety regulations.

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in confined spaces, and handle physically demanding tasks.

License: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
