We are seeking a highly experienced Senior IT Solutions Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of technology solutions that align with our organization’s modernization and enterprise architecture goals. This role is pivotal in ensuring our technology initiatives meet current business needs and are positioned for future growth. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with stakeholders, translating complex business requirements into technical specifications, providing strategic insights, and ensuring solution alignment with enterprise architecture standards. The project duration is 6 months.

Candidate needs to be local to Washington State

Key Responsibilities:

Design technology solutions that address both business needs and technical requirements.

Propose solutions that support the organization's goals for modernization and scalability.

Assess and analyze business requirements to determine the technical specifications for each project.

Translate business objectives into detailed technical designs and documentation.

Ensure recommended solutions are aligned with the established enterprise architecture framework.

Maintain compliance with organizational standards and best practices to ensure consistency and quality.

Partner closely with stakeholders, project managers, developers, and other architects to ensure project success.

Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical teams to foster clear understanding and alignment of project goals.

Engage in project planning and implementation phases, providing technical expertise and oversight.

Ensure architectural integrity and guide teams during execution to meet technical and business objectives.

Develop and recommend strategies for modernizing the organization's IT environment.

Stay updated with emerging technologies to identify and recommend innovative solutions.

Basic Qualifications:

10+ years of experience as an IT Architect or a similar senior-level role.

10+ years of expertise in architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman, FEAF).

8+ years of experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

6+ years using architectural modeling tools (e.g., ArchiMate, Sparx Systems Enterprise Architect).

Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, applications, data management, security, and compliance.

Proficiency in analyzing complex problems and formulating effective solutions.

Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

TOGAF, Zachman, or other relevant certifications.

Familiarity with DevOps tools and Agile methodologies.

Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

Experience with ERP systems, data governance, and master data management.

Familiarity with enterprise integration technologies and patterns.

A proactive approach to staying updated on emerging trends and innovations.
