Senior International Tax Accountant - Hybrid Role - Miami, Florida
We are seeking individuals with some background in international taxation who are eager to advance their careers by becoming part of our dynamic international tax team. In this position, the International Tax Senior will provide expert guidance to clients on intricate US international tax matters, which includes managing global effective tax rates, global tax structures, and assisting in complex business transactions.
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of full-time experience in public accounting, with exposure to international tax concepts such as Subpart F, GILTI, FDII, BEAT, foreign tax credit calculations, and international reporting and compliance.
- Proficiency in handling various tax forms, including Forms 5471, 5472, 8865, 8858, 8938, 8621, 1116, 1118, and FINCEN114.
- Familiarity with the Sec 962 election and High Tax Exception.
- Strong aptitude for tax research along with exemplary research skills.
- Exceptional client service and communication capabilities, demonstrated through the ability to cultivate and maintain excellent client relationships.
- Solid leadership qualities, coupled with the ability to provide guidance, training, and mentorship. Proficiency in verbal, written, and presentation skills to represent the firm effectively to client management.
- Capacity to manage multiple engagements and successfully complete projects within a rapidly growing, fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
A Plus If You Have:
- 4 or more years of experience in international tax, including leading multiple engagements.
- Proficiency in using CCH ProSystems FX tax, QuickBooks, and/or RIA Checkpoint.
- A Master's degree in Tax.
- A CPA license.
