Responsibilities: Design and Implement: • Research, design, test, deploy, support, and manage technology solutions for our SMB clients. Serve as a technical consultant, supporting networks and technology assets of our customers. • Design and validate solutions that align with business needs and best practices. • Drive standardization and automation to improve efficiency. Project Execution: • Collaborate with other teams to understand project requirements and objectives. • Partner with the Service Manager and Business Development team to onboard new clients. • Maintain accurate records of project progress, changes, and outcomes. Infrastructure Management: • Lead the administration of our customers' computer networks, including servers, networking, and related components. • Ensure reliability, security, and performance of client environments. • Share technical expertise with team members. Additional Responsibilities: • Mentor more junior service desk team members. • Guide team members through technical implementations. • Serve as the highest point of escalation to resolve complex technical issues. Qualifications: • You have a bachelor’s degree in a technology-related field or an equivalent combination of education and working experience. • 5-7+ Years of Microsoft systems administration/networking experience. • Proficiency with Windows Server and Desktop OS. Linux familiarity is preferred but not required for this role. • Demonstrated experience with virtualization technology (VMs, virtual desktops, storage, networking, and security), using platforms such as Azure services, VMware, or Hyper-V. • A strong grasp of network architecture, (firewalls, routers, switches, security appliances, software, network protocols, policies, and security), using platforms such as Watchguard, Adtran, Meraki, and Unifi. • Comfortable with backup and disaster recovery solutions such as Veeam, Unitrends, Synology, or Datto. • Prior Experience in Prophet 21 (P21) ERP systems is preferred. Familiarization with cybersecurity best practices is essential. • Identity and access management (SSO and authentication providers), network security, and data encryption frameworks such as CIS and NIST. • Strong demonstrated experience developing processes, helping resources learn to follow processes while cultivating innovation and creativity. • Possess excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, capable of translating complex technical issues to technical and non-technical audiences. • Occasional travel may be required for this role. Compensation: $88,000 - $105,000 depending on expertise
