Responsibilities: - Perform lawn care services within the Austin area. Identify and address lawn issues effectively to maintain customer satisfaction. Implement various treatment plans across different property types. Ensure safe and proper application of chemical products and fertilizers for lawn quality enhancement. Responsibilities: • Lawn Specialist ensures the safety and appropriate application of chemical products and fertilizer to enhance the quality of our client’s lawn • Production goals - works diligently with upper-level management in obtaining monthly production goals • Identification - of insects, weeds, and diseases as they relate to job function and implement appropriate control solutions • Communication - able to interact with clients and also branch personnel as to activities as they relate to the clients • Equipment and Warehouse - ensure standards of cleanliness are being adhered to daily • Responsible for the organization of equipment and products in your assigned vehicle • Ensures proper disposal of all fertilizer residue and containers • Safety - responsible for personal, equipment, and vehicular safety as it relates to job requirements • Provide service to residential customers by making lawn applications, diagnosing and correcting lawn problems through service calls and other customer communications • Perform all functions of the lawn care position with crew members • Using herbicides, fertilizer, and other applications for lawn care health • Follow a daily schedule, ensuring timely arrival at each account (A company vehicle is provided) • Support others with obtaining lawn care licensure by providing one-on-one coaching and instruction • Assisting in sales to current and new customers through contact on route • Measuring the lawn of potential customers to provide an accurate cost • Providing additional services through aeration, soil amendment, and overseeding • Previous landscaping experience Qualifications: • A landscape professional with the ability to be highly functional in a team environment, as well as able to perform with minimum supervision and direction • A minimum of one year of experience in fertilization and chemicals required • Must have a sense of ownership of responsibilities • Must be able to diagnose insect and disease issues in the field • Must have a clean driving record and pass an internal insurance background check to drive a company vehicle • High energy, positive attitude, and forward-thinking • Strong team player and the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment • Meet or exceed sales goals • State-issued licensing requirement for pesticide application or obtaining one in 60 days Preferred Qualifications: • Requires 100% proficiency in product offerings • Must be able to demonstrate a willingness to be flexible and adapt to change • Ability to follow policy and procedures • Must be able to resolve problems, handle conflict, and make effective decisions under pressure Physical Requirements: • Stand; walk; sit; twist; use hands to handle; reach with hands and arms; push; pull; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk and hear • Lift, move, and hold up to approximately 50lbs • Must be able to work a full-time, flexible schedule with “on-call availability” and must be able to travel on short notice • Must be able to drive a motor vehicle (day and evenings) for extended time periods Compensation: $50,000 - $55,000 yearly
