Immediate Opening: Senior Commercial Lines Account Manager Location: Austin, TX Office
Position Overview: We are seeking a Senior Commercial Lines Account Manager to provide prompt, accurate, and courteous service to clients, Agency Principle, and company personnel. This role involves supporting the acquisition, retention, growth, and service of commercial accounts, ensuring that client needs are met with efficiency and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement tailored insurance programs for clients, adhering to agency guidelines.
Support Agency Principle regarding coverage details, proposals, and other service-related matters to meet agency goals.
Stay informed about updates to carrier offerings and changes in federal and state laws that may impact client operations; advise clients on coverage options, exclusions, and risks.
Initiate and prepare proposals and applications, submit them to clients and carriers, obtain signatures, and ensure timely follow-up, in collaboration with Producers.
Prepare insurance summaries and proposals for client review.
Client renewal process, including remarketing policies and following up with clients and producers to ensure successful policy renewals.
Educate clients on audit procedures and guide them through the process.
Prioritize tasks and manage workflow to ensure efficient and accurate processing of transactions.
Represent the agency in addressing complaints or disputes, facilitating positive relationships with clients, and maintaining strong connections with insurance carriers to ensure client satisfaction and smooth business operations.

Experience & Education Requirements:
Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in Commercial Property & Casualty Insurance.
Experience working with Construction and Property Management clients is strongly preferred.
Licensing & Credentials:
Active General Lines or Property & Casualty License required.
Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) or equivalent designation is highly preferred.
Systems Expertise:
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Familiarity with Vertafore, AMS360 is a plus, experience with similar Account Management Systems ok
