    DEFINITION:

    A senior line cook is responsible for supervising the flow of activity in the kitchen to maintain customer satisfaction. This may include opening or closing the restaurant. The senior line cook will ensure all Fudpucker policies and procedures are followed relating to food quality and portion control, food and team member safety, kitchen cleanliness, customer satisfaction and any other components of the kitchen and its staff. Assists the front of the house management team with daily tasks as requested.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:

    · Motivates the sales team to meet sales objectives by training and mentoring staff to provide an excellent experience for all guests, including onboarding and training new team members.

    · Assigns workstations, performs quality control checks and makes sure work is completed in a reasonable timeframe.

    · Ensures compliance with Fudpucker’s policies and procedures.

    · Assists with inventory ordering and control, including waste management.

    · Maintain cleanliness and complies with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage procedures are followed.

    · Ensures cooking surfaces and equipment have been cleaned and sanitized at the end of each shift.

    · Confirms inventory checks and food storage logs have been completed

    · Other duties as assigned by management

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    · High school diploma or GED

    · Three to five years of experience as a line cook, restaurant cook, or prep cook

    · Certificate in Culinary Arts preferred

    · Experience with various cooking methods and procedures

    · Ability to work flexible hours during a Monday through Sunday workweek

    · Must posses a valid drivers license and reliable transportation

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

    · Must be able to communicate clearly with vendors, guests, and other employees

    · Must be able to stand for long periods of time; and

    · Must be able to lift and carry up to forty pounds.
