Responsibilities: • Build and nurture strong relationships with clients throughout the entire mortgage process, ensuring a seamless journey from application to closing. • Evaluate clients' financial circumstances to provide tailored recommendations on suitable loan products, such as FHA, VA, conventional, and other mortgage options. • Guarantee adherence to all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies, in every loan transaction. • Lead and guide junior loan officers, offering mentorship, sharing industry best practices, and delivering training to support their professional growth. • Engage in active networking within the community to cultivate referral sources and create new business prospects. • Supervise the loan processing phase closely, collaborating with loan processors to ensure the accurate and timely handling of mortgage applications. • Stay informed about market trends, interest rates, and regulatory updates to furnish clients with informed and valuable advice. Qualifications: • Minimum requirement of 5 years of experience in the mortgage industry, demonstrating a successful history of loan origination. • Possession of an active NMLS license is mandatory. • A preferred qualification includes a Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field. • Proficient in mortgage products, underwriting procedures, and real estate market dynamics. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential. • Capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting. • Proficiency in mortgage software and CRM tools is required for this role.
