In this role, you will lead through demonstration, offer expert advice to clients, guide junior team members, and oversee a varied portfolio of mortgage loans. Responsibilities: • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, guiding them through the mortgage process from application to closing. • Loan Origination: Assess clients' financial situations to recommend appropriate loan products, including FHA, VA, conventional, and other mortgage programs. • Compliance: Ensure all loan transactions comply with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies and procedures. • Team Leadership: Mentor and support junior loan officers, sharing best practices and providing training to help them achieve their goals. • Networking and Business Development: Actively network within the community to develop referral sources and generate new business opportunities. • Loan Processing Oversight: Work closely with loan processors to ensure timely and accurate processing of mortgage applications. • Market Knowledge: Stay updated on market trends, interest rates, and regulatory changes to provide clients with the best possible advice. Qualifications: • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in mortgage lending, with a proven track record of successful loan origination. • Licensing: Must hold a current NMLS license. • Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field is preferred. Skills: • Strong understanding of mortgage products, underwriting processes, and real estate markets. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Proficiency in mortgage software and CRM tools. Compensation: $65,000 - $85,000 yearly
