Motto Mortgage is in search of a Senior Loan Officer to play a vital role in assisting clients in realizing their dreams of homeownership through crucial financing solutions. In this role, you will lead through demonstration, offer expert advice to clients, guide junior team members, and oversee a varied portfolio of mortgage loans. Your extensive knowledge will be pivotal in propelling the branch's success and expansion in Wichita, KS. Responsibilities: • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, guiding them through the mortgage process from application to closing. • Loan Origination: Assess clients' financial situations to recommend appropriate loan products, including FHA, VA, conventional, and other mortgage programs. • Compliance: Ensure all loan transactions comply with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies and procedures. • Team Leadership: Mentor and support junior loan officers, sharing best practices and providing training to help them achieve their goals. • Networking and Business Development: Actively network within the community to develop referral sources and generate new business opportunities. • Loan Processing Oversight: Work closely with loan processors to ensure timely and accurate processing of mortgage applications. • Market Knowledge: Stay updated on market trends, interest rates, and regulatory changes to provide clients with the best possible advice. Qualifications: • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in mortgage lending, with a proven track record of successful loan origination. • Licensing: Must hold a current NMLS license. • Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field is preferred. Skills: • Strong understanding of mortgage products, underwriting processes, and real estate markets. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Proficiency in mortgage software and CRM tools. Compensation: $65,000 - $85,000 yearly
