    Position Overview:
    The firm is seeking a highly skilled Senior Associate or Senior Counsel with 5–10 years of M&A experience to join their team. The ideal candidate will have the ability to run deals from end to end independently with light oversight, supporting firm-wide M&A transactions. The firm's M&A practice spans a diverse range of industries, including healthcare (e.g., dental and private specialty practices), manufacturing, technology, and more.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead and manage M&A transactions from inception to closing with minimal supervision.
    • Draft, review, and negotiate key transaction documents, including purchase agreements, merger agreements, and ancillary documents.
    • Oversee due diligence efforts and identify key legal and business issues impacting transactions.
    • Advise clients on deal structure, strategy, and legal risks associated with transactions.
    • Work collaboratively with internal and external teams, including clients, opposing counsel, and firm colleagues across offices.
    • Manage and mentor junior associates and support staff involved in transactions.

    Qualifications:

    • J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to the bar in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
    • 5–10 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, preferably at a law firm or in-house legal department.
    • Proven ability to manage all aspects of M&A deals independently.
    • Strong drafting and negotiation skills, with attention to detail.
    • Industry experience in healthcare, manufacturing, or technology is a plus.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a client-focused approach.
    • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, entrepreneurial, and fast-paced environment.
