The role you will play:
- M-F, 8am to 4:30pm.
- No weekends, no call
- 15 chairs in Infusion Center.
- Oversee pharmacists in the Outpatient Infusion Center.
- Compliance/Regulatory, Operating & Capital Budget/Financial, Strategic Planning, Performance Improvement, Community Relations, Staffing/Labor/Supervisory.
- Coordinate and direct pharmacy programs and operations in assigned areas to ensure pharmacy services and distribution systems are aligned with evidence-based best practices and are suitable to meet the patient care needs of assigned services and areas. Manage and supervise staff, operations, and programs to ensure accurate and timely medication distribution, optimize medication utilization, minimize product waste, maximize inventory turns, optimize pharmacy supply use, and maximize staff productivity.
- Ensure two-way communication throughout Department of Pharmacy and function as an effective liaison internally across the department and externally with pharmacy system.
- Effectively collaborate with other hospital departments by personal contact, by committee membership, and by memorandum to promote cooperation and efficiency in providing patient's pharmacy care needs.
- Assume, when assigned in the absence of the Director of Pharmacy, all delegations and responsibilities and perform in such a manner to ensure program continuity and overall functionality of the Department of Pharmacy.

Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy or PharmD.
- A current/active pharmacist license in the state of FL.
- Experience in an infusion site/center.
PREFERRED:
•PGY1 Pharmacy Residency and PGY2 Specialty Residency, or PGY2 Health-System Pharmacy Administration Residency
•Business Administration, or other advanced degree in pharmacy or healthcare leadership
•Three or more years of pharmacy leadership with supervisory experience
•Five or more years of pharmacy practice experience in a large hospital (greater than 500 bed institution) and integrated healthcare system (three or more hospitals in system)
