Title: Senior Manager, Partnerships & Alliances
About the Role:
As a key member of Spendflo’s Business Development team, you will be at the forefront of driving our growth by crafting and executing a robust demand-generation strategy through strategic partnerships and alliances, especially with Private Equity firms and their portfolio companies.
Your mission will be to identify, source and onboard high-value partners, deepen relationships with existing ones, and unlock new pipeline opportunities to power Spendflo’s expansion. By accelerating deals, demonstrating clear value to partners, and building a strong network of referral, reseller, and technology alliances, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Spendflo.
**About the Role**
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Manager, Partnerships & Alliances to drive our strategic growth through partnerships, with a core focus on private equity relationships, VCs, 3rd party resellers and referral partnerships. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing a partnership strategy that generates leads, accelerates revenue, and expands Spendflo’s footprint in the market.
This role requires an existing network of private equity relationships and the ability to cultivate new ones. You will work closely with PE value creation teams to drive Spendflo’s adoption across their portfolio. Additionally, you will oversee our reseller, referral, and technology partnerships to maximize pipeline opportunities. Frequent travel to meet partners and host events will be essential to success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
\- Develop Private Equity Partnerships: Build and nurture relationships with private equity firms to position Spendflo as a strategic partner for their portfolio companies. Conduct quarterly business reviews (QBRs) to showcase value delivered.
\- Drive Lead Generation & Revenue Growth: Leverage PE partnerships to generate a consistent pipeline of high-value leads and accelerate deal closures.
\- Expand the Partner Network: Identify, onboard, and manage referral and reseller partners to extend Spendflo’s market reach.
\- Foster Strategic Alliances: Develop joint go-to-market strategies with technology partners to enhance Spendflo’s product capabilities and integration ecosystem.
\- Host Events & Drive Engagement: Represent Spendflo at industry events, host networking sessions, and lead executive roundtables to strengthen relationships with PE firms and partners.
\- Collaborate with Internal Teams: Work closely with sales, marketing, and Account Management teams to align partnership initiatives with company objectives and drive measurable outcomes.
Qualifications & Experience:
\- Min 5-7+ years of experience in partnerships, preferably in a high-growth SaaS company. 2+ years of experience in sales or customer success is a plus.
\- Strong track record of building and managing partnerships with private equity firms, value creation teams, and portfolio companies.
\- Existing network of PE relationships strongly preferred.
\- Experience with referral, reseller, and technology partnerships in the SaaS industry.
\- Excellent negotiation, relationship management, and strategic planning skills.
\- Strong skills in working, communicating and navigating with internal stakeholders and depts.
\- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with a results-driven mindset.
\- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage C-suite executives.
\- Willingness to travel frequently for partner meetings, events, and industry conferences.
\- Based in the U.S. near a major airport (remote). Must be available to engage with partners and clients during U.S. business hours from EST to PST time zones.
