Exciting Opportunity: Senior Manager, Risk Management & Investments

CORY is hiring for a Senior Manager, Risk Management & Investments, for a growing real estate investment firm. We are hiring an experienced individual to oversee all insurance-related activities, including new acquisitions and renewals, to protect their assets and optimize costs.

Your Responsibilities as a Leader:
- Oversee property and liability insurance programs for all assets.
- Evaluate and secure appropriate insurance coverage for new acquisitions.
- Manage the renewal process for existing insurance policies.
- Analyze and compare insurance proposals to determine the best options for coverage and cost.
- Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential exposures and develop and implement strategies to minimize losses.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for insurance brokers and carriers; negotiate terms, coverage, and premiums to achieve cost savings.
- Oversee all insurance claims, ensuring timely and effective resolution and
- Coordinate with legal counsel and adjusters as necessary.
- Ensure all insurance programs comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and report on insurance costs, budgeting, and forecasting. Identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising coverage.
The Skills & Experience You Possess:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, Insurance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in insurance management, preferably within the real estate industry.
- In-depth knowledge of property and casualty insurance products and regulations.
- Proven experience in negotiating insurance terms and managing broker relationships.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and insurance management software.
- Professional designations such as ARM (Associate in Risk Management) or CPCU (Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter) are a plus.
