    Job Summary:

    We are looking for a driven and dedicated Santa Barbara surrounding areas. The Senior Manager of Prevention and Early Intervention (SMPEI) provides leadership and support in strategy, policy, evidence-based practices, quality control, and the development and implementation of prevention and early intervention programs county-wide. Duties include program direction, staff supervision, contract and budget management, and program evaluation. The SMPEI oversees the quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of the department.

    Role requirements:

    • LCSW or LMFT from an accredited university or college, with a license for at least two years, or Licensed Psychologist from the California State Board of Behavioral Sciences or Board of Psychology.
    • 5 + years of professional clinical experience and 3+ years of management experience. Minimum of two years’ experience providing clinical supervision. Training and experience in CALM’s core modalities preferred (e.g., PCIT, CPP, TF-CBT, EMDR, IPT, Motivational Interviewing). Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
    • Experience working in community mental health and/or working with child welfare preferred.
    • Thorough understanding of the behavioral healthcare industry; knowledge of Medi-Cal and County documentation requirements; familiarity with government funding sources and reimbursement.
    • Comfortable providing constructive feedback to staff. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ethics, and demonstrated ability to develop & maintain productive relationships across employee groups. Able to respond appropriately to changing situations in a fast-paced environment. Excellent verbal and written. communication skills.
    • Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus.
