Senior Mechanical Engineer (Mechanical engineer w/reliability experience)

A large refinery complex needs a senior mechanical engineer to manage both mechanical engineer and mechanical reliability projects throughout the site.

Key:

• Mechanical engineering degree (possibly similar engineering degree)
• MUST have experience in Reliability Centered Maintenance in a petrochem type setting
• A lot of rotating equipment experience

A more experienced candidate can be considered for a more senior position; Someone with less experience can be considered for a more junior (also posted)

Info:

• Management of mechanical reliability and integrity projects with: rotating equipment, compressors, fans, reactors, pressure vessels, etc
• Mechanical integrity projects - pressure vessels, piping, etc.
• Formal continuous improvement projects throughout the operation
• Budget management
• Asset Management - with and as part of maintenance team
• Key part of asset management team
• As this is an integral technical part of the operation, promotional opportunities are in maintenance/reliability management, ops, and senior engineering areas at this site or others.
• Classic mechanical engineering projects and integration with RCM

Requirements:

• 4 year degree in mechanical or similar engineering
• Approx 5+ years of experience in reliability/mechanical maintenance in refining/petrochem
• Used to/willing to be in an active refining complex
• Legal to work in the U.S. legally, not needing a visa now or at a later date

Salary is approx $120,000 - $160,000 depending on experience.
