We’re looking for a motivated, people-oriented Loan Officer to join our team, focusing on building and managing a referral network to drive business growth.

    Position Summary: As a Referral-Based Loan Officer, you will be responsible for generating new business through a well-established network of professional relationships. You will work closely with real estate agents, financial planners, attorneys, and other industry professionals to create a steady pipeline of referral-based loan leads. Your role is critical in growing the company’s client base by converting referrals into successful loan applications and approvals.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Develop and Maintain Relationships: Build and nurture strong, lasting relationships with a variety of referral partners, including real estate agents, brokers, attorneys, and other financial professionals.

    Generate Leads: Drive loan origination by leveraging your network to secure client referrals consistently.

    Client Consultation: Provide expert advice and guidance to referred clients, ensuring they understand loan products, terms, and conditions.

    Loan Application Process: Assist clients in completing loan applications and ensure all required documentation is collected for loan approval.

    Stay Informed: Keep up-to-date with the latest market trends, loan products, and lending regulations.

    Follow-up and Close: Manage the loan process from start to finish, ensuring timely follow-up with both referral partners and clients to maximize conversion rates.

    Achieve Targets: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly loan origination targets through referrals and networking efforts.

    Qualifications:

    Proven experience in loan origination, mortgage lending, or a related field.

    A well-established network of professionals who can provide referrals (e.g., real estate agents, financial advisors, attorneys).

    Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

    Strong knowledge of loan products, lending guidelines, and financial documentation.

    Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.

    Ability to handle multiple clients and loan processes simultaneously.
