The Role We Want You For
The Senior Process Designer will oversee all aspects of process design workflows, providing strategic direction to design teams, mentoring team members, and ensuring deliverables consistently meet client goals, regulatory standards, and organizational objectives. Senior Process Designers play a pivotal role in ensuring project success through technical leadership and continuous process improvement.
The Specifics of the Role
- Lead the creation of intricate designs, including multi-discipline integrations, advanced piping layouts, and comprehensive system diagrams.
- Develop, implement, and enforce company-wide standards for quality, accuracy, and compliance across all projects.
- Mentor junior and mid-level designers, promoting professional development, skill advancement, and team cohesion.
- Collaborate closely with clients to refine deliverables, address feedback, and align designs with overall project objectives.
- Innovate workflows by adopting new tools, technologies, and processes to improve team efficiency, accuracy, and productivity.
- Ensure all designs adhere to safety regulations, industry standards, and organizational best practices, identifying and mitigating risks proactively.
Requirements
- Drafting/Technical computer aided drafted degree from accredited institution.
- 10+ years of extensive process design experience, demonstrating mastery in AutoCAD, Plant 3D, Navisworks, and other advanced modeling tools.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, capable of addressing complex multidisciplinary challenges and ensuring seamless project execution.
- Proven leadership abilities to manage diverse teams, enforce high-quality standards, and provide technical mentorship.
- Expertise in integrating client feedback, aligning project deliverables with client expectations, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams, driving collaboration and alignment.
