Senior Procurement Analyst

This position contributes to the company’s success by independently analyzing complex data and market industry information from multiple sources to develop strategic sourcing recommendations. This individual will be responsible for identifying unique sources for data and information, and will conduct opportunity assessments, benchmarking, cost modeling and root cause analysis to develop sourcing recommendations. They will effectively collaborate with suppliers to gather and develop analytical insights.
Sr. Procurement Analyst Responsibilities:
- Manage contracting for general contractors and architects in store development
- Responsible for identifying unique sources for data and information.
- Facilitate, review and negotiate construction contracts
- Perform data analysis for contract facilitation
- Collaborate with the team, provide cross functional support and take ownership of projects
- Develop analytical reporting and dashboards.
- Use Analytical tools (Tableau, Excel, Power BI, SQL, Oracle, etc.) to mine data and develop a sourcing database.
- Supports team with supplier administrative support (supplier setup, contract management, item setup
- Strong business communication and ability to interface with stakeholders
- Continuous process improvement
Sr. Procurement Analyst Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sourcing new vendors and supplies.
- Project management experience or ability to manage projects with confidence.
- Prior experience as a Buyer, with a strong understanding of strategies and methodologies.
- Buyer experience at a large enterprise-level company is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data for sourcing decisions.
- Proficiency in Power BI, Oracle, and Excel.
- Exposure to contracting, with legal knowledge of contract terms preferred.
