The Mission of this Position We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to initiate, plan, execute, monitor, manage, and control company projects and initiatives. Projects span from online marketing and marketing automation campaigns, digital program/course deployment, content marketing, and live events to new software integration and development. The project manager will not only work with the leadership team to plan and deploy new projects but to support the ongoing operational management of recurring projects. Experience working with organizations in the web 2.0/3.0 and/ or educational/coaching industry is a Huge Plus. In the near future, the company will be deploying a direct sales model and platform - if you have background or experience in a direct sales company - also a plus. The Senior Project Manager is expected to successfully drive projects and initiatives to completion with accuracy and efficiency. We are looking for a Senior Project Manager who has experience interfacing with leadership to review quarterly and annual projections and be able to support the ongoing planning and prioritization of initiatives to achieve key company results. You will also be involved in hiring and responsible for managing members of your project management team. and prioritize projects based on the company’s key objectives • Translating company objectives into executable projects and initiatives • Initiate and execute on planning of each new or existing initiative in accordance with the company’s established timeline of projects • Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget • Managing and coordinating the activities of other members of the project management team i.e. project coordinators • Communicating with key stakeholders and team members to map out all relevant tasks and needs within various business initiatives and turn them into project plans • Making adjustments to project plans as required throughout the project lifecycle • Flagging project requests, that do not align with business objectives for further review • Monitoring progress across all projects and flagging risks to the Director of Operations and/or other key stakeholders • Monitoring and optimizing project workflows for increased Streamlining team collaboration by running weekly sprint huddles with each department Daily responsibilities include: • Managing project management systems by reviewing incoming tasks, verifying assignments, due dates, and clarity in description • Monitoring future tasks and bringing them into the current workload • Reviewing completed tasks and archiving weekly • Running weekly backlog grooming and weekly sprint assignment calls with each department • Managing other PM team members • Recognizing when existing tasks need to be moved to on hold/ for review or back to future action list due to capacity thresholds • Drafting and maintaining project management documents • Following up with stakeholders for progress updates Qualifications: Experience: • 5+ years of experience in project management helping to execute projects smoothly and efficiently for organizations with 50+ employees • 3+ years of experience with the following or similar tools: Project Management Systems (Trello, Asana, BaseCamp, Project, etc.), Reporting Software (Screenful, Tableau, etc.), Communication Platforms (Voxer, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, etc.), Microsoft 365, and Highly skilled in using Excel • 3+ years of experience managing interdepartmental projects • Demonstrated experience in being extremely detail-oriented in creating excellent documentation, standard operating procedures (SOP), and presentations • Demonstrated experience managing projects that have a technical component (or involvement with technical teams) • Expert in working with and developing Gannt chart • Experience managing the digital deployment of products and services • Formal training in Kanban, Agile, Scrum, or other methodology • PMP certification is a plus • Experience and proficiency with tools such as Infusionsoft or other major CRM systems are a plus • Knowledge of marketing automation systems and campaign development a plus • Bachelor’s degree in project management, management information systems, computer science, engineering, or a related field • Worked with a company in the educational/direct sales space and experience managing projects related to program launches, live events,
