    Senior Marketing Project Manager – Marketing Operations

    Seattle, WA – Hybrid

    12 months contract

    $75 to $80/ hour

    Join the largest coffee retail company in the country! This multinational chain is looking for a Senior Project Manager to join its Marketing Operations Team. If you thrive in a collaborative environment and seek opportunities for career growth, this could be a great opportunity!

    The Associate Manager will be partnering with internal business partners and external creative partners to support large-scale projects as part of the team responsible for cross-functional brand and marketing execution from planning through delivery.

    The ideal candidate is equal parts strategic thinker, problem solver, creative confident, logical task-master and collaborative team member.

    Sr. Project Manager Responsibilities:

    • Serve as primary project management contact for highly complex and visible brand and marketing campaign work to lead cross-functional team(s) through the entire process from kickoff to completion.
    • Create and manage project schedules and progress tracking to keep teams on track and informed.
    • Anticipate & mitigate challenges and escalate risk when necessary to successfully gain alignment on the best path forward.
    • Understand the essential dynamics, strategies, and drivers of the assigned program to provide value-added counsel on overall experience and marketing communication execution.
    • Influence processes to improve business planning, cross-functional communication, work integration, and teamwork among partners from cross-functional departments to achieve KPIs.
    • Apply experience in leading relationships with creative agencies to successfully brief and guide work through the development, production, and delivery process. Leveraging a depth of marketing knowledge/capabilities as a consultant to business partners on requirements, strategies, and opportunities for innovation across Starbucks paid/owned/earned channels.
    • Partners with cross-functional teams to track success metrics and program performance measures, evaluate program effectiveness, and integrate learning into future initiatives.

     

    Sr. Project Manager Qualifications:

    • 7+ years of Marketing project management experience
    • 7+ years of Agency or Corporate Marketing experience
    • Microsoft Office Suite and Smartsheet proficiency. Experience in Figma is a plus
    • 2+ years of experience communicating with senior leadership – Presenting insights and recommendations effectively.
    • 2+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams – Driving collaboration and project execution.
    • Excellent communication skills – Strong presentation and public speaking abilities.
    • Strong attention to detail – Ensuring accuracy in data, strategy, and execution.
    • Ability to manage, lead, and mentor team members
    • Ability to define objectives, scope, and resources for projects extending beyond a department or business unit
