    We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Project Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and excels at managing complex development projects with tight deadlines. The position focuses on casework, cabinetry, countertops, fixtures, and accessories, requiring extensive experience in the cabinetry and countertop industry—from design to manufacturing and installation. Product development experience in cabinetry or related furniture industries is a plus.

    Key Responsibilities

    Project Management
    • Bidding: Estimate bids using costing workbooks, assess product, installation, freight, and storage costs, and evaluate project margins based on specifications.

    • Product Development & Design: Collaborate with design teams to ensure project requirements are met; review and refine design plans as needed.

    • Manufacturing: Oversee production to maintain quality, efficiency, and adherence to timelines.

    • Shipping & Logistics: Manage shipments for timely, damage-free deliveries; coordinate storage-to-site transfers to align with schedules.

    • Installation & On-Site Adjustments: Lead installation teams to ensure compliance with design plans, quality standards, and client expectations. Address any modifications or minor repairs post-installation.

    • Stakeholder Coordination: Facilitate communication with general contractors, internal teams, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.

    • Issue Resolution & Contingency Planning: Monitor project progress, identify challenges, and develop solutions proactively.

    Client & Stakeholder Relationships
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with general contractors and project stakeholders.

    • Prioritize client satisfaction through clear communication and problem-solving.

    • Participate in meetings, provide updates, and offer strategic recommendations.

    Budget & Cost Management
    • Develop and oversee project budgets to ensure cost-effectiveness.

    • Monitor expenses and collaborate with Finance and Procurement teams to optimize spending.

    Quality Assurance & Risk Management
    • Ensure all project phases meet TLC Millworks’ and industry standards.

    • Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies.

    • Maintain compliance with safety and industry regulations.

    Team Leadership
    • Provide guidance to junior project managers and team members.

    • Oversee relationships with design engineers and installation teams.

    • Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.

    Reporting & Software Utilization
    • Provide regular project status updates to senior management.

    • Utilize project management software for tracking and reporting progress.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.

    • Minimum of 7 years of project management experience in commercial and/or residential construction, preferably in Dallas.

    • Expertise in supply chain management for construction projects.

    • Proficiency with supply chain software; experience with Hyphen Solution’s BuildPro preferred.

    • Proven ability to manage large-scale cabinetry and countertop projects.

    • Strong leadership and team management skills.

    • Proficiency in project management tools/software.

    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

    • PMP or similar certification is a plus.
