Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, and drive design-wins, for Himax AI processor and image sensor technology solutions to meet and exceed sales targets
Collaborate with team members to develop sales strategies and plans
Develop and manage customer relationships from working level to leadership
Maintain deep understanding of the customer’s business and technical objectives and strategies to ensure ongoing alignment with Himax business objectives
Recruit effective distributors, manufacturer representatives and value added resellers. Monitor sales performance and manage corrective actions
Develop and deliver presentation and product demos to potential clients
Attend industry events and conferences to network and generate leads
Prepare and submit sales reports and forecasts to management
Travel to meet with customers and conduct sales meetings
Other duties assigned by management
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or similar fields
8+ years of sales and business development in the technology industry
Proven ability to develop and execute sales strategy and identify new business opportunities
Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales target, managing large territories
Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients
Strong written and verbal skills in English and Mandarin
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
5 years of experience in semiconductor sales
Experience with image sensors and computer vision
Experience with industries related to IOT device, embedded system and / or personal computers
Salary Range
The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award program
