The company is currently seeking a Senior Sales Representative in the Dallas – Fort Worth, TX area for our North Texas SMA operations, reporting directly to the Area General Manager. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to lead safety, quality, and revenue generation throughout our existing operations and additional operations through growth.
Duties include but not limited to:
- Increasing revenue and margins through disciplined market management.
- Maintaining favorable and effective relationships with current customers.
- Identifying and prospecting new customers and capturing information in Salesforce.
- Favorably resolving customer complaints as necessary.
- Analyze market trends and develop action plans to capitalize on shifts in market.
- Develop specific strategies to obtain new business.
- Working with internal teams to ensure product quality and availability.
- Assist in overseeing the sales process from pricing, to preparing contracts, forecasting, and assisting in credit and collections.
- Assessing sales functions and potential on prospective acquisitions.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience and success in sales environment required.
- Sales experience in the aggregates, asphalt, construction, or related industry required.
- Knowledge of the marketing area is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree required, Business or Construction Management preferred.
- Proven sales, negotiation, and customer service skills.
- Capable of demonstrating product knowledge, market conditions, and competition.
- Excellent verbal, written communications and presentation skills required.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Occasional overnight travel is required.
