About the Role:

We are seeking a Senior Staff Accountant with a database mindset and strong proficiency in ERP systems and automation. This role will be hands-on with QuickBooks, utilizing it to its full potential while supporting a fast-growing company considering a NetSuite implementation.

Reporting to a talented, experienced Controller who loves to teach and mentor, this position will play a key role in the month-end close process, working closely with clerical staff to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, and driving efficiencies through automation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the month-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely financials.
• Work with the Controller and clerical staff to maintain efficient accounting operations.
• Leverage QuickBooks to its fullest potential while preparing for a transition to NetSuite.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities to streamline financial workflows.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls.
• Support ERP system upgrades, process automation, and data integrity improvements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
• Manufacturing industry experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, or similar preferred).
• Experience with financial process automation and efficiency improvements.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Tech-savvy self-starter who enjoys optimizing financial systems and processes.
