    Length: Currently until 6/2026

    Location:  Albany, NY – Receptive to a remote arrangement coming into the office at the client’s request

    • (e.g., onboarding, offboarding, Meetings with Executives or Business that can’t be accomplished remotely, and emergencies) as long as performance is as expected.
      Travel will not be reimbursed. Include travel in candidate rate.

    Overview:

    The Senior Solutions Architect will develop technical strategies to enhance the Client’s HR systems while maximizing PeopleSoft capabilities, limiting customizations, and increasing interoperability.

    • Prior PeopleSoft implementation experience, the ability to identify technical options and implementation strategies for requirements not efficiently delivered by PeopleSoft configurations.

    Job Qualifications:

    • 8+ years of relevant experience
    • PeopleSoft implementation experience
    • Ability to identify technical options and implementation strategies for requirements not efficiently delivered by PeopleSoft configurations.
    • Bachelor's Degree in Math, Sciences, Engineering, or technical background preferred but not required

    Responsibilities:

    • Participate in finalizing business requirements to develop a firm understanding of the needs.
    • Participate in finalizing functional and technical requirements.
    • Document legacy system architecture, as needed.
    • Develop strategies to enhance the interoperability of the existing PeopleSoft systems to increase data reliability, streamline workflows, and eliminate duplicate data entry.
    • Develop technical solutions to deliver existing and new functionality while reducing the number and complexity of PeopleSoft customizations.
    • Develop technical solutions to meet business needs not effectively and efficiently delivered by PeopleSoft.
    • Participate in prototype and proof of concept exercises.
    • Identify opportunities to streamline the number and complexity of interfaces to PeopleSoft and other applications.
    • Document the to-be architecture, taking into consideration state shared services, enterprise standards, and security requirements.
    • Participate in the development of project, workstream, and sprint planning to sequence the delivery of system enhancements and new functionality to the business owners.
    • Develop artifacts required to support software development life cycle standards.
    • Develop analyses and other products to support program governance and project management efforts.
    • Able to work with the software development lifecycle (SDLC) artifacts developed to industry and State standards.
    • Able to work with the reports and presentations on technical analyses and recommendations.
    • Able to create prototypes and proof of concept exercises
