As a Senior Sourcing & Procurement Specialist at StrategicSource, Inc., you will play a key role in deploying our company's mission to help clients reduce costs, reduce risks, and save time. You will be responsible for researching, evaluating, and selecting vendors and products that meet clients' sourcing needs and standards. In addition, you will also be required to maintain relationships with existing suppliers, stay informed of new industry trends, and help create and execute strategies for cost reductions. Responsibilities: • Sourcing Strategy Development: Understand client needs and develop customized sourcing strategies to optimize costs. • Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers; manage supplier relationships to ensure high-quality service and value. • Contract Negotiations: Lead contract negotiations, ensuring terms align with client objectives and achieve desired cost savings. • Market Research: Conduct market analysis to identify trends, benchmarks, and new opportunities for cost reduction. • Project Management: Manage multiple sourcing projects simultaneously, delivering results within established timelines and budgets. • Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with client stakeholders and internal teams to ensure alignment of goals and objectives. • Reporting: Track and report on project progress, savings achieved, and overall impact for clients. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. • 2+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management, preferably with a focus on indirect expenses. • Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and presentation abilities. • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
