a Local Candidates ONLY - In Office Position
This position has three main areas:
Company Full Cycle Accounting:
Perform day-to-day accounting operations. Including journal entries, month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, general ledger maintenance
Produce journal entries and account reconciliations which include, but are not limited to, cash, prepaid expenses, CC, Banks, and AP &AR accrual
Prepare and discuss the financial reporting package with the Company’s executives and owners
Track revenue recognition based on the Saas Model
Track Company’s day-to-day accounting-related tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable functions. Ensuring timely and accurate monthly billing and accounts receivable follow-up
Preparation and filing of Company related taxes for the CPA
Research and resolve payroll and benefits issues, responding to federal and state notices received by the Company
Implement, maintain, and adhere to internal controls and accounting procedures ensuring compliance with GAAP
Additional projects and/or duties as they arise
Client Onboarding & Training
Assist with client onboarding with the finance package
Assist in training clients on accounting functions Finance Package
Answer client's question related to accounting
Assist with the maintenance and resolution of incoming customer accounting support tickets.
ERP Functionality and Expansion
Assist software engineers in the modification and development of accounting-related functionalities of the Company’s ERP solution
Assist in the development and maintenance of the user guides and documentation
Performing testing on suggested modifications and newly developed functionalities
Assist in continuous improvement of the Company through analysis and identification of opportunities
Required skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance
Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills
Must have a minimum of 5 years of Full Cycle Accounting procedures
Must be Tech Savvy and willing to learn new technology
Attention to detail is an absolute MUST
Consistent punctuality, reliability, friendliness, and professionalism even while under pressure
Excellent Microsoft computer skills and proficiency in Google Calendar, Docs, Excel, and Word
Ability to handle multiple requests and inquiries in a professional, friendly, and upbeat manner
Excellent time management and prioritization skills
Positive and self-motivated
Flexible team player - willing to learn new tasks
Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of work
Must be a problem solver and address issues promptly
Must have ERP or Accounting software experience
