Senior Staff Accountant
Job Summary: The Senior Staff Accountant is responsible for asset accounting and reconciliations, month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, bank reconciliations, and monthly and quarterly reports for corporate in addition to custom reports.

Essential Functions:
Perform fixed asset accounting
Generate and maintain financial records and reports
Perform bank reconciliations for assigned accounts
Perform reconciliations for balance sheet accounts
Perform journal entries as part of the month end closing process for various transactions
Assist with budgets
Conduct internal audits
Maintain accounts payable documentation
File sales tax returns
Assist Executive team and department leaders as needed and respond to information requests by management and for auditing purposes
Backfill Payroll Department when needed

Minimum Skills and Education
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
+10 years of accounting experience.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Working knowledge of GAAP.
Strong numeracy and analytical skills.
Good problem-solving and time management skills.
Highly organized and detail oriented.
Strong proficiency with Excel
Knowledge of PowerBI and SQL preferred
Physical Requirements:
