    Accordia Consulting LLC is seeking an extraordinary tax senior who is technically competent and has strong communication skills. This individual will assist the Firm towards becoming the region's most creative, problem-solving CPA Firm.

    Our practice specializes in providing tax, accounting, business advisory services, and strategic planning services to small and mid-size entrepreneurial clients. The ideal candidate will work closely with a partner or other managers, communicate with clients, supervise and review the preparation of tax returns, research technical issues, teach staff, and correspond with tax authorities. We are especially interested in accountants with strong analytical skills and who have the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and easily. Applicants must possess a desire to excel and a desire to constantly improve his/her technical expertise. You will work with pleasant, technically competent professionals in a comfortable learning, growing, teaching team environment. Salary will be commensurate with experience and ability.

    Initial Responsibilities Include:

    Analyze client books and records to identify adjustments necessary to prepare accurate income tax returns

    Prepare and review individual, trust, estate, partnership, S corporation, and C corporation tax returns

    Prepare and review multi-state income tax returns

    Assist with quarterly tax planning for clients

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (must have taken courses in advanced accounting and taxation); Master's degree preferred

    CPA or EA certification highly desirable

    Minimum of 2 years of income tax preparation experience

    Strong accounting skills, including experience preparing account reconciliations, adjusting journal entries, and accrual to cash conversions

    Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations

    Proficiency in financial analysis

    Experience with tax software and the preparation of workpapers that support tax returns

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including expert English verbal and written skills

    Attention to detail and quality orientation

    Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
