Location: Mandeville, LA (Onsite. 5 days a week)

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of the company's federal, state, and local income tax compliance.
  
• Prepare and review quarterly/annual income tax provisions (ASC 740).
  
• Research and interpret tax laws and regulations to identify potential tax planning opportunities.
  
• Assist with tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities.
  
• Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize the company's tax liabilities.
  
• Maintain accurate tax records and documentation.
• Collaborate with other members of the finance team on tax-related matters.
  
• Stay up-to-date on changes in tax legislation and accounting standards.
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4+ years of experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment (e.g., logistics, transportation, manufacturing).
• Strong understanding of supply chain operations and the impact on tax implications.
• Proven ability to analyze complex data and identify trends related to inventory movement, transportation costs, and logistics operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
