    We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented accountant, EA, or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing taxes for businesses, with a strong focus on tax planning for small businesses. The accountant will play a crucial role in ensuring clients' financial success through meticulous tax preparation, strategic tax planning, and compliance with all tax regulations. Responsibilities: • Forecast revenue and analyze our profit margin to better determine our effectiveness • Play a key role in strategic planning and organizational budget • Conduct internal auditing • Communicate with tax accountants to keep track of payments and returns • Offer suggestions to improve the company’s current financial status • Prepare federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and businesses, ensuring accuracy and adherence to all applicable laws and regulations. • Provide comprehensive tax planning services for small businesses, identifying opportunities for tax savings and advising on financial strategies to optimize tax outcomes. • Conduct thorough reviews of financial records, reports, and documentation to ensure accurate and timely tax filings. • Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations, and communicate their impact to clients and team members. • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, offering expert advice and support on various tax-related matters. • Assist in the resolution of tax issues and disputes with tax authorities, representing clients as needed. • Collaborate with other team members to deliver integrated and holistic financial solutions to clients. Qualifications: • Exceptional knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) • Excellent time management, problem-solving, and communication skills • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required, preference to candidates with an MBA • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation required. • Minimum of 10 years of experience in tax preparation and planning, preferably with a focus on small businesses. • In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and team members. • Proficiency in tax preparation software and Microsoft Office Suite. • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities. Compensation: $65,000 - $105,000 yearly
