One way we help clients is by guiding them throughout the year on implementing the best tax strategies that will significantly reduce their tax liability. The position is entirely remote and you’ll be working with a smaller book of business that’s more hands-on and high-touch. You’ll be responsible for guiding our law firm clients in creating and implementing tax strategies. Candidates should have a desire to grow, manage other team members, be client-facing, and have extensive experience with tax planning strategies and tax preparation work. Candidates should also operate at a high level with problem-solving, organization, and time management skills. Responsibilities: • Client Tax Management: Overseeing clients' tax compliance, ensuring due dates are met, and ensuring tax-related matters are handled effectively. • Collaboration with Bookkeeping Team: Working with bookkeeping staff to ensure that client financial reports are accurate. • Client Communication: Regularly meeting with clients to provide tax advice, feedback on their goals, and strategies for growth. • Public Engagement: Conducting virtual sessions during the sales cycle to provide information about the company’s services. • Client Relationship Management: Proactively managing relationships, identifying and resolving potential issues before they escalate. • Direct Reporting: Reports directly to the CEO Qualifications: Experience: • 5+ years in Federal Taxation and State and Local Tax (SALT). • Must be able to research and implement new tax strategies. • Experience responding to IRS and State Tax notices. Skills: • Candidate must LOVE working with clients and be willing to move mountains for clients to succeed. • Strong client-facing skills, with an emphasis on exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities. • Organizational and time management skills to juggle multiple client needs effectively. • Ability to be innovative. Technical Experience: • Familiarity with QuickBooks Online and Drake Tax is a plus. Credentials: • Enrolled Agent (EA) or CPA is a plus. • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field and a Master’s degree is a plus. Compensation: $105,000 - $175,000 yearly
