    We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Tax Manager to join a reputable CPA firm based in Portland, OR. The ideal candidate will be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with extensive tax experience, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional client service.

    Responsibilities:
    • Oversee and manage the tax compliance and advisory services for a diverse portfolio of clients, including individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts.
    • Review complex federal, state, and local tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations.
    • Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize clients' tax liabilities and optimize financial outcomes.
    • Provide expert guidance and advice to clients on various tax matters, including mergers and acquisitions, estate planning, and business structuring.
    • Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, providing training, support, and career development opportunities.
    • Conduct research on complex tax issues and stay current with changes in tax laws and regulations.
    • Assist in the resolution of tax controversies and disputes with tax authorities.
    • Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and exceptional service.
    • Collaborate with other departments within the firm to deliver comprehensive and integrated services to clients.
    • Participate in business development activities, including networking events, client presentations, and proposal writing.
    Qualifications:
    • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Master's degree in Taxation is preferred.
    • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on tax.
    • Proven experience in managing tax compliance and advisory services for a diverse client base.
    • Strong technical knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
    • Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Strong commitment to professional development and staying current with industry trends.
  • Compensation
    $150,000-$200,000 per year
