The ideal candidate will be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with extensive tax experience, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional client service.
Responsibilities:- Oversee and manage the tax compliance and advisory services for a diverse portfolio of clients, including individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts.
- Review complex federal, state, and local tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations.
- Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize clients' tax liabilities and optimize financial outcomes.
- Provide expert guidance and advice to clients on various tax matters, including mergers and acquisitions, estate planning, and business structuring.
- Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, providing training, support, and career development opportunities.
- Conduct research on complex tax issues and stay current with changes in tax laws and regulations.
- Assist in the resolution of tax controversies and disputes with tax authorities.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and exceptional service.
- Collaborate with other departments within the firm to deliver comprehensive and integrated services to clients.
- Participate in business development activities, including networking events, client presentations, and proposal writing.
Qualifications:- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Master's degree in Taxation is preferred.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on tax.
- Proven experience in managing tax compliance and advisory services for a diverse client base.
