    We are currently seeking a Senior Technical Writer / Quality support for our customer in Crane, IN. The ideal candidate will be able to perform the following duties, as well as, possess the following education and experience:

    Duties :

    • Prepare or modify technical manuals for systems, subsystems, equipment or components.

    • Prepare and deliver technical manuals to the Government in camera-ready, digital format, CD, electronic or other,

    format as specified.

    • Support the development of an intuitive and effective IETM for multimodal delivery, including the Internet, Intranets, LAN, and CD-ROM.

    • Support the development of an intuitive and effective page based Technical Manual.

    • Develop, review, update, and provide comments, and recommendations for selected portions, or complete data packages, which includes drawings, specifications, TRSs, Installation Operation & Checkout Procedures (IOCs), ECPs, SARs, and SIDs.

    • Participate in the development and operation of quality control and quality assurance mechanisms within division workflows and processes.

    • Understand the requirements of ISO: 9001 and ensure the QMS is structured to be in compliance with the requirements of ISO:9001 and NSWC Crane policies.

    • Strong knowledge of MS Project and its web interdependences is required.

    Desired Education :

    • Bachelor’s Degree in any field with a minor in English (preferred ).

    Desired Experience :

    • Three (3) years related experience in technical writing/editing.

    Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

    Compensation at Precise Systems is determined by various factors, including education, experience, skills, competencies, and contract-specific requirements. The salary range for this position is $67,634.18-$101,648.18 (annualized USD). This range represents the standard pay for this role and is just one component of Precise Systems’ total compensation package.
