    As part of the IT development function, the Senior Test Engineer will be responsible for the quality of the Sport Clips On-line Check-in (OLCI) applications and all other internal and external projects. This includes the web, mobile, and back-end applications that make up the OLCI infrastructure and well as the tools and infrastructure needed to support critical business systems. You will be interacting with stakeholders (both internally and externally), with our IT vendors, and with all necessary business groups in order to ensure the highest quality of applications, tools, and systems.

    CORE ROLES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

    This role reports to the Director of Engineering and Security and collaborates with internal stakeholders to ensure timely availability of accurate data and metrics from our IT partners. Another responsibility of this role is to implement manual and automated test plans for new and existing products, tools, features, APIs, RESTful Services, platforms and frameworks by building and maintaining high quality test cases in addition to supporting scalable and maintainable test automation. Additional responsibilities include (but are not limited to) engaging with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues with data repositories and external data feeds, building dashboards to visualize the usage and status of critical business tools, working with outside vendors to bring them up to company standards, and collaborating on code reviews, internal infrastructure, and process enhancements as needed throughout the software development lifecycle.

    QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, & KNOWLEDGE:

    Degree in related field or equivalent work experience

    6+ years experience in testing an enterprise-level, customer-facing mobile and web apps

    Experience in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React, APIs

    Hands on experience in working with a team utilizing Object-Oriented Programming and SOLID principles

    Very experienced with Cloud-based solutions on AWS and/or Azure

    Drive web- and mobile-based software through the development lifecycle to release

    Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely availability of accurate data and metrics from our IT partners

    Collaborate on ticket grooming, code reviews, internal infrastructure, and process enhancements as needed throughout the software development lifecycle.

    Mentor and help develop the skills of less-experienced engineers

    Management of extensive test plans and organization of test cases

    Release management – mobile and web

    Triage with Support staff

    Experience with building and maintaining automation for functional and performance testing

    Systems thinking - the ability to see how parts interact with the whole (big picture thinking)

    Knowledge of the business for which the enterprise architecture is being developed

    Ability to influence the Business and IT Strategies ensuring collaborative alignment

    Comprehensive knowledge of hardware, software, application, and systems engineering
